BAMBOO ROD - J.B. Daniels of Auburn, Maine antique bamboo fly rod circa late 1890's. The hand-carved wooden rod case is marked number 644 of about 1000 rods made during his career. The original canvas sack is included. The rod itself consists of three 43" sections with an extra tip section making it about 10'6" long when assembled. Condition is considered very good +. This rare salmon rod is a thing of beauty and has wonderful provenance as well. I am asking $1,500 for this great piece of fly fishing history.
