DPC Crowns New Champ!

2016 Ditch Pickle Classic Champ - Dillon Brooker (Kind of a Big Dill)
Sorry for the long delay in posting folks. We hosted 165 anglers for the Ditch Pickle Classic this past weekend and session #1 of Green Mountain Fly Fishing Camp kicked off this week, so we've been running on all cylinders just trying to keep up!
What a great weekend it was to be on Lake Champlain for the 2016 DPC! It was an exciting event as always and we crowned a new DPC Champ! Head over to www.fishthepickle.com and check out the full tournament recap and standings. Huge congrats to Dillon Brooker and team, Kind of a Big Dill on the win! These guys really deserved it! 2017 DPC is already set for 6/24-6/25!!
We are running a Ditch Pickle Productions video contest until late July and we're giving a DJI Phantom Drone to the winner!!! Check out our first entry from the guys at Presenting the Fly and Rising Tide Anglers...

We had some serious storms roll through yesterday afternoon that dropped up to 3" of rain on some areas in a very short period of time! The majority of the Lamoille is chocolate milk today and will take a couple days to calm down. 3" of rain fell between Eden and Jay, so the Gihon is a mess but the Brewster is crystal clear. Prior to the rain, water levels were very low and the lake is about 3' below average, so that is some welcome water around here!
The recent heat has been too much for our trout streams, so focus should really be on warm water until things cool off. Bass fishing has been really good with the fish moving into their summer haunts, making things a bit more predictable.
We've extended our Catch'n'Click contest until July 8th to allow more time for photo submissions, so get the GMT app and submit those photos!
Here's our most recent 2 entries...
