Agua!

Join us for another year of teaming up with Central VT Trout Unlimited to Green Up our rivers!
We finally got some rain that actually had an effect on water levels! The Lamoille is a bit dingy today, but most smaller tribs are running high and clear. We also have a warming trend going on which should equate to some great fishing over the next week.
New logo T's in stock!
We did see some Hendrickson activity before the rains, but we'll have to wait and see what's in store for the upcoming week. Targeting tribs over the next couple days is a good bet for both water conditions and hatch activity. We have some great locally-tied patterns in the shop for this particular hatch so check it out!
New camo color in our logo trucker hats
We just got in a bunch of logo T's and hats in the shop. You can also pick them on on our webstore where we ship for FREE on orders over $25 and Vermonters pay only $1 for shipping orders under $25 within the state!
We've had a couple, high-demand spots open at Green Mountain Fly Fishing Camp in our July sessions. Drop an line at gmtvermont@gmail.com for info!
Our catch-photo-release tournament on Lake Champlain, the Ditch Pickle Classic, is getting BIG! If you have not yet registered your team, do it!...this event is an absolute blast!
This Saturday, May 7th is Green Up Day in Vermont. In our business, we refer to it as "River Cleanup Day" since our efforts are focused on greening up local waterways (which is where a large % of trash ends up!) Last year, Troutfitters teamed up with folks from Central Vermont Trout Unlimited with a goal of taking a larger bite out of river and stream pollution. The event was a great success and we are repeating the effort this year! Please check out suggested areas on our "River Cleanup" page and consider joining us on Saturday! We'll meet in Hyde Park, split up on the trash attack and meet up back in Hyde Park for a BBQ lunch! Check here for info and call 802-644-2214 or email for details
