Pickle Training

Bob L. Gettin' it done!
We're finally into a nice system of cooler nights and some rain here and there.  We got some steady rains throughout the day and evening yesterday and this morning, but it wouldn't hurt us to get a bit more water in the system.
We've been doing mostly bass trips and even those fisheries will welcome this stint of cooler, wetter weather.  We fly guys really enjoy catching fish on top whenever possible, and this cooler weather will bring the bass back up closer to the surface in popper territory.
This rainy weather will be around until later in the week when warmer, sunnier weather returns.
We've got 22 teams and close to 45 anglers already signed up for this year's Ditch Pickle Classic (www.dpcvt.com)  Don't miss out on this great event that celebrates fly fishing on one of the country's best bass fisheries!
Also, don't miss Feathers n' Friends on July 1st with Pat Cohen!!  We still have a little space, so let us know asap if you want to come out and spin deer hair with the master.

80 degree surface water and 50 degree air temps make for some incredible fog...
