Looking Back at a Crazy Week in the Rearview

Roland Tremble of Team Grey Buggers displays one of the fish that helped earn him the trophy

We are finally back in the shop after hosting/co-hosting some amazing events this past week! Our kids camp, Green Mountain Fly Fishing Camp, couldn't have gone better. Click on the link above for a photo review of the week at camp. Following GMFFC, we headed up to Jay Peak to teach about 20 kids to cast a fly rod and many of them caught fish on Jay's stocked trout pond! Then it was on to the Ditch Pickle Classic for some friendly competition on one of the country's finest fisheries. The DPC gets better and better each year. Keep an eye out for some video footage from the event!
We've got some heavy storm cells moving through the area today before things break for a dry, sunny weekend.   Looks like Tuesday-Sat. we will get some cooler nights in the 50's which will help the cause and should produce some good am fishing.  Stimulators, princes, and terrestrials should be on the top of your fly list.  Also, keep your eye on water temps and get some good use out of your stream thermometers! Better yet, give the trout a rest and head out for some bassin'! You'll be glad you did!
